The Tour de Force is a fundraising event for the William Wates Memorial Trust. We follow each year’s route of the Tour de France, starting and finishing one week ahead of the professionals. On 22nd June 2013, the Tour de Force will take to the saddle in Corsica.We will follow all 21 stages of the 2013 Tour de France route, staying 7 days ahead of the professionals and finishing approx. 3500 km later, on Bastille day (14th July) in Paris.

In 2006 and 2010 the Tour de Force was held exclusively for friends and family of the Trust. But then we realised it was a brilliant idea and many more people would like to join us. So since 2012, we have been open to the public but determined to keep the same friendly, inclusive and personal feel to the event.
In 2012 the Tour de Force raised an astonishing £297,600 for the William Wates Memorial Trust which is being spent on all sorts of projects which help the country’s most disadvantaged young people.
